The AP Top 25 poll following Week 5 of the college football season will soon be released, but ESPN’s Brett McMurphy is getting out ahead of the game and has released his ballot for the world to see.
As has been the case all season, the Alabama Crimson Tide hang on to the No. 1 ranking in the nation.
After a win over previously No. 3-ranked Louisville, the Clemson Tigers leapfrogged the Ohio State Buckeyes in McMurphy’s rankings to claim the No. 2 spot, while the Cardinals slid to No. 4. Ohio State and Texas A&M round out the top five.
