Ohio State has come alive under the direction of coach Urban Meyer. They’re hard hitting and high-flying, and they’re hoping prized five-star wide receiver recruit Donovan Peoples-Jones agrees.
Peoples-Jones surprised Ohio State with a visit as the Harbaugh led Michigan Wolverines are considered the heavy favorite to land his services. At 6-foot-2, the Buckeyes want to leave nothing on the table in the attempt to secure the standout receiver.
According to Eleven Warriors, the star recruit met with athletic director Gene Smith and university president Michael Drake prior to today’s game.
Peoples-Jones is out of Cass Technical in Detroit and currently has more than 20 offers.
Ohio State will also be hosting Tyreke Smith and Jaylen Harris this week as week.
With this much talent on the Ohio State sideline, it doesn’t appear that the Buckeyes will be falling off anytime soon. Again, Peoples-Jones is a longshot to chose Ohio State over Michigan, but he’ll get a chance to watch the Buckeyes firing on all cylinders as they play the Indiana Hoosiers this week.
He’s sure to have a good time, and history has proven that recruits can be fickle when it comes to deciding where they play in college.
