Notre Dame-NC State delayed due to lightning

Today’s Notre Dame-NC State game has been a mess.

Both teams have struggled to get anything going thanks to poor field conditions at Carter-Finley Stadium while the two teams played through Hurricane Mathew.

At the half, the weather conditions forced a delay.

The game is set to resume at 2:30 p.m. ET, according to the Fighting Irish.

Through two quarters of play, North Carolina State and Notre Dame have combined for a measly 170 yards of total offense and three points. We wouldn’t expect much to change in the second half with a sloppy field awaiting the players.
