Earlier this season LSU made the decision to fire coach Les Miles. Criticism for the personnel change hasn’t been difficult to find, as many fellow coaches and athletic directors have come out in support of Miles and his coaching prowess.
Les Miles is sure to be a hot name in the free agent coaches market this season.
Count Purdue among the first to get in on the sweepstakes for Miles’ services that will take place in a few months.

Current Purdue coach Darrel Hazell’s termination, by all accounts, is a foregone conclusion at this point. He has frustrated the fan base and the court of public opinion seems to have come to a consensus.

A deal is unlikely to be reached this season and Miles will be wearing a headset and holding a clipboard from his love-seat for the remainder of this year.
However, he’ll be somewhere next season.
Could it be Purdue? It could. But surely some bigger name programs will vie for his services.
