ESPN College GameDay is visiting Tuscaloosa on Saturday for a top ten showdown in the SEC as the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide play host to the No. 6 Texas A&M Aggies at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
This weekend’s special guest picker was none other than CBS play-by-play commentator Verne Lundquist, the legendary voice of the SEC.
When it came to Saturday’s headliner between Alabama and Texas A&M, Lunquist couldn’t make a pick because he will be calling the game later today. Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit had similar thinking, going with the defending national champions.
Throughout the many years of College GameDay, there has been no mascot represented more often than Alabama’s Big Al. Did Lee Corso add another pick for Alabama to his record or did he decide to pick the upset?
Corso teased the possibility of an upset, before “Sweet Home Alabama” serenaded the crowd and Corso once again represented the Crimson Tide with Big Al.
Kickoff between the Crimson Tide and Aggies is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS as the SEC Game of the Week.
