FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll, Week 8: Alabama remains No. 1 team

Following Week 8 of college football season, the Football Writers Association of America and the National Football Foundation unveiled the updated FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.

As you would expect, the Alabama Crimson Tide remain in the No. 1 spot this week.

However, thanks to Ohio State losing to Penn State and Houston losing to SMU, there are plenty of other shakeups. The Buckeyes fell from No. 2 to No. 6, while Michigan jumped over Clemson and into the No. 2 spot. Washington and Louisville round out the top five.

Oklahoma and Tennessee are among the teams to just miss out on making the rankings.

OTHERS RECEIVING VOTES: Oklahoma (72), Tennessee (70), LSU (28), Western Michigan (21), Houston (13), North Carolina (12), Penn State (9), Colorado (6), Navy (5), Virginia Tech (5), Washington State (2).
