The Penn State football program created a special environment at Beaver Stadium on Saturday night, with a “White Out” to welcome the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes.
When it was all said and done, the rowdy, sell-out crowd was left celebrating one of the biggest upsets of the season as the unranked Nittany Lions stunned Urban Meyer’s program, 24-21, behind a 17-0 run in the fourth quarter.

The way that Penn State eventually won was something special.
Ohio State lined up for a field goal while leading 21-17. That’s when Marcus Allen came up huge for the Nittany Lions and blocked the kick, before Grant Haley returned it 60-yards for the go-ahead touchdown.

The Penn State defense then held on for the victory and the Buckeyes suffered their first loss to the Nittany Lions under Urban Meyer. It will certainly be interesting to see how the shocking result impacts the College Football Playoff picture when the latest rankings come out.
