South Carolina’s Chris Lammons ejected for punching Tennessee receiver

There are a couple of things you cannot get away with on the football field. One of those things is punching an opponent. If you can’t punch an opponent once, you certainly won’t get away with two or three strikes, but apparently South Carolina defensive back Chris Lammons didn’t get that memo.

Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Jauan Jennings tied up with Lammons in the endzone when the Gamecocks defender decided to throw some hands. As a result, he was promptly ejected from the game.

If you notice, one of Lammons’ punches wisely went to the stomach, because punching a helmet freakin’ hurts.

Can’t we all just get along, fellas?

South Carolina currently leads the Volunteers, 14-7, early in the second quarter at Williams-Brice Stadium. The game is currently airing on ESPN.
