It has been an incredible senior year for Indiana Hoosiers midfielder Tanner Thompson.

This weekend, it got even better.

On Sunday afternoon, the No. 5 Hoosiers were taking on the No. 13 Michigan State Spartans at Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington. Tied in the final moments of the game, Thompson was able to nutmeg a Michigan State defender, dart across the box, create a moment of separation and drill a screamer that glanced off of the bar and into the back of the endzone.

Check out the incredible goal below:

The goal earned Thompson College Soccer News National Player of the Week honors on Oct. 31. This year, Thompson has also posted his first career hat trick and was a First-Team Presason All-America by College Soccer News.

Up next for Indiana is the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament. The Hoosiers will host Northwestern on Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. ET.
