Jim Harbaugh puts on a show on the sideline. Every week you can expect at least one weird story about the coach of the Michigan Wolverines. He’s excitable and unapologetic for the way he behaves, all justified by the fact that he builds a winner everywhere he goes.
That continued on Saturday against Maryland with an epic temper tantrum on the sideline.
The former Stanford Cardinal and San Francisco 49ers coach has revamped the Michigan program in a very short amount of time, and they are now considered powerhouse in college football. His big personality and eccentricities that make him such a hit as a collegiate football coach are also what plagued him at the professional level.
It isn’t the first time a coach builds a successful program in college, leaves for the NFL, then returns to the collegiate ranks and builds another powerhouse. That is exactly what Nick Saban did when he went: LSU-Miami Dolphins-Alabama. We all know what Nick Saban has done in Alabama since coming back to the NCAA.
Is that kind of success what Jim Harbaugh has in store for Michigan?
Keep in mind, this temper tantrum takes place in a game that Michigan is winning 38-0.
