Jay Tufele, nation’s No. 3 DT, to visit Ohio State vs. Michigan

Jay Tufele is a young man with a lot going for him right now. He is currently the No. 3 ranked defensive tackle in this year’s recruiting class and the No. 58 prospect overall.

Tufele has received a number of offers from programs around the country, but is finally starting to cut the list down and taking official visits. He recently cut his list down to seven teams; both Ohio State and Michigan are on that list, along with USC, Utah, Washington, UCLA and Brigham Young.

That adds some intrigue to his official visit at the end of Ohio State’s regular season slate.

They play none other than the Harbaugh-led Michigan.

Tufele could be a drag and drop starter from Day 1. At 6-foot-3 and 297 pounds, he already has the body to play at the collegiate level. With so many top tier universities vying for his services, he will go as far as he is willing to work.
