Ohio State basketball team tours Navy campus

On Friday night, the Ohio State basketball team kicks off its 2016-17 campaign with a matchup against the Navy Midshipmen in Annapolis, Maryland.

But before they take the court, the Buckeyes are soaking everything in.

To kick off their day, Ohio State players toured the Navy campus to see the life of an average Navy student and some of the iconic areas on campus.

But perhaps the best moment was when head coach Thad Matta received a sword from the Vice Admiral Walter E. “Ted” Carter Jr.

Be careful with that thing, Thad.

Ohio State and Navy are set to tip-off tonight on the CBS Sports Network at 9 p.m. ET.
