College basketball is back and in a big way.
On Friday night, we watched Penn State drop a game to Albany and Tennessee get upended by Chattanooga. Those results were very unlikely, but what did play out as expected was an instant classic between No. 10 Arizona and No. 12 Michigan State.
The Wildcats and Spartans were kicking off the Armed Forces Classic in Honolulu and put on a show for the fans with a game that went down to the wire.
When the final buzzer sounded, it was No. 10 Arizona that came out on top thanks to a buzzer beating layup from Kadeem Allen, who went coast-to-coast to beat the buzzer with just under two seconds remaining in the game.
Check out the play below.
It’s only November, everyone.
This college basketball season is about to be lit.
