The Oklahoma Sooners are off to a hot start against Baylor, thanks in part to some wizardry from the offensive skill positions.
On a second-and-three, star quarterback Baker Mayfield was facing pressure from the Baylor pass rush when he uncorked a rope to wide receiver Dede Westbrook.
Westrbook was on his way to the sideline, but dug his cleats into the ground and tightrope walked his way into the endzone for an impressive score.
That’s one way to make it onto the SportsCenter Top 10 list.
But we shouldn’t be surprised, because Westbrook has been making these kinds of plays all year long. This season, Westbrook has 64 catches for 1,166 yards and 12 touchdowns. The senior pass catcher is undoubtedly one of the top receivers in the nation.
No. 9 Oklahoma currently holds a 21-3 lead over the No. 25 Bears midway through the second quarter.
