Five-star Kris Wilkes commits to UCLA’s top-ranked recruiting class

On Sunday, the rich got richer.

According to 247 Sports, five-star small forward Kris Wilkes will be committing to the UCLA basketball program. The addition of Wilkes now gives UCLA the No. 1-ranked recruiting class in the nation.

Wilkes, the No. 2 player in the state of Indiana and a top five player at his position in the nation, was choosing between UCLA, Illinois and Indiana.

Ultimately, the Indiana native decided to head to the West Coast to join Steve Alford’s squad.

The North Central High School standout joins four-star recruits Jaylen Hands, Cody Riley, Jalen Hill and three-star prospect LiAngelo Ball, the younger brother of Lonzo Ball, in Los Angles.
