LSU football has some fun with Golden Boot Trophy

For the first time in three years, the LSU Tigers were able to upend the Arkansas Razorbacks to claim the Golden Boot rivalry trophy thanks to a 38-10 win last weekend.

After bringing the trophy home, the Tigers and interim head coach Ed Orgeron decided it was time for a little makeover.

The Tigers got the trophy shined, but made sure only to focus on the important part: the state of Louisiana.

Well played.

If LSU can put a nice win streak together over its SEC West rival, Arkansas could have plenty of cleaning to do when they finally return the trophy to Fayetteville.

In the meantime, LSU can enjoy their shiny new prize.

This weekend, the Tigers return to action with another big game against the SEC rival Florida Gators. The game was originally scheduled to take place earlier in the year, but it was postponed due to Hurricane Matthew.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
