Oklahoma State’s Cole Walterscheid loves Jimmy John’s too much

Oklahoma State defensive end Cole Walterscheid had a little too much fun over the weekend.

According to the Oklahoma State student paper, O’Colly, Walterscheid was found either passed out or asleep on top of a Jimmy John’s sign that was used for delivery drivers. He was then arrested for public intoxication.

It got worse for Walterscheid, who allegedly attempted to get in the passenger side of the cop car after he woke up.

The police report shows Walterscheid had no idea what was going on:

When asked what he was doing, Walterscheid reportedly told the officer he was walking home and that he got the car topper “at work.” The officer asked Walterscheid whether he worked at Jimmy John’s, and Walterscheid replied, “No, that’s not from Jimmy John’s,” according to the affidavit.

Luckily for Walterscheid, Jimmy John’s isn’t pressing charges for taking the sign.

The sophomore has started every game for Oklahoma State this season, recording 20 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss.

Oklahoma State has yet to comment on the situation.

The No. 10 Cowboys finish off the season on Saturday with a road trip to Norman to take on the No. 7 Oklahoma Sooners. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
