Following another week of college football action, the Football Writers Association of America and the National Football Foundation unveiled the updated FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.

Once again holding the top spot was defending national champion Alabama, receiving all 45 first-place votes, while the Ohio State Buckeyes remained at No. 2. Previously No. 3-ranked Michigan fell to No. 4 following its loss to Ohio State on Saturday, being leapfrogged by Clemson and Washington.

Auburn and Florida fell from the poll this week, while Navy made its 2016 debut.

The Big Ten led all conferences with four teams. The ACC, Pac-12 and Big 12 had three each. The American, MAC and SEC each had one team.
