Texas A&M’s Kenny Hill out with foot injury

Kenny Hill’s status has been up in the air all week. Considered a game-time decision, he didn’t start against Kansas State today. He is in uniform for todays contest and warmed up with this teammates prior to the game.

Through the first quarter, Sawyer has struggled to move the ball. He is 7-of-13 for 44 yards through the air. He is also their leading rusher in the game; four carries for 22 yards.

Hill is proving difficult to replace for the Horned Frogs. He has thrown for over 3,000 yards and provides superior mobility and the ability to extend plays. Hill is in his first year starting for TCU after transferring from Texas A&M.

The most important thing for Sawyer is to protect the ball in this game, as neither team is moving the ball well offensively. Kansas and TCU are locked up at a field goal each and have looked equally disjointed.
