Gucci Mane: Alabama football will be unbeaten for a decade

He’s probably wrong. Probably.

Alabama football fan and rapper Gucci Mane, a native of the state, was recently tracked down by TMZ Sports, which asked him if he expected the Crimson Tide to struggle after the loss offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin to the FAU Owls.

His response was exactly what you would expect from a fan whose team seems almost too dominant.

“100 percent. We’re gonna be undefeated for the next 10 years,” he predicted.

Alabama has come to dominate college football in a way many people thought they might never see again. Teams have looked under matched, under prepared, and poorly equipped to handle the freakish athletes that comprise the Crimson Tide roster.

But ten years? C’mon, Gucci.

Alabama will face the Washington Huskies in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on New Year’s Eve.

The game will determine who moves on to play the winner of Ohio State/Clemson for the National Championship. Alabama is a huge favorite for a playoff game, two touchdowns, and honestly, that seems low.
