Morgan Freeman withstands barrage of snowballs during Ole Miss basketball game

Ole Miss had some star power in the seats for their game against Murray State this week. After pulling out to a double-digit lead in the first half, they survived a second half collapse and clung to a five point lead; the final margin between the two sides.

The real story, though, was the snow in Mississippi.

Fortunately, Morgan Freeman and his warm, silky smooth voice was there to take care of things.

That’s what gets you an Oscar. I would rate his performances in the following order: God in Bruce Almighty, the Ole Miss v. Murry State basketball game, and probably Bruce Almighty again.

The acclaimed actor, who has lent his talents to countless films and is one of the premiere voice-over actors in the industry, will probably find even more fulfillment in fact that he made the child next to him smile and laugh with his antics.

Nice guy. Great chemistry with Jim Carrey.
