Report: Isaac Copeland transferring to Nebraska

Georgetown transfer Isaac Copeland is set to join the Nebraska Cornhuskers, according to a report from Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports.

After an impressive season during his first year at the college level, Copeland was named to the Big East all-freshman team. Unfortunately, injuries this season had led to a decreased role for the 6-foot-9 forward.

This season, Copeland was averaging 5.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game before announcing his decision to transfer in mid-December.

Copeland, a former five-star recruit, will have two years of eligibility remaining. He can take the court for Nebraska for the second semester of the 2017-18 college basketball season because he transferred mid-season.
