WrestleMania 34 host city, date announced

The WWE officially announced the WrestleMania 34 host city on Monday afternoon.

Following a report from The Times-Picayune, the WWE confirmed on WWE.com that WrestleMania 34 will take place in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on April 8, 2018.

An official announcement and press conference is set for Tuesday morning.

The Mercedes-Benz Superdome was most recently the host of “The Showcase of the Immortals” in 2014 for WrestleMania 30, when Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s infamous streak at the event.

75,167 fans were in attendance.

Fans will have plenty to do in New Orleans, and if WrestleMania 34 is able to live up to the previous WrestleMania in the city, WWE fans will be in for quite the treat.

Later this year, WrestleMania 33 will take place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida on April 2.
