Video: Iowa State K Cole Netten shares mean tweets

Iowa State kicker Cole Netten, who received All-Big 12 honors in 2016, took to Twitter on Wednesday to share some of the messages that have motivated him throughout the year.

We all know that college football fans — or anyone for that matter — can be terrible humans on social media, and Netten’s timeline was no different.

Netten put together and shared a video of some of the awful messages he received throughout the year with his own “mean tweets” video which was hilariously accompanied by orchestral music.

Check it out:

Netten is Iowa State’s all-time leader in scoring, extra points, field goal percentage, consecutive field goals made and total kicks made.

While fans may have tweeted the senior kicker nonsense throughout the season, they have to appreciate all he has done for the Cyclones during his career.
