The Cal football program will be receiving a visit from one of the top available players in the nation over the weekend.
According to Bear Territory’s Ryan Gorcey, former Tennessee Volunteers running back Jalen Hurd is set to visit the Golden Bears campus in the next two days as he considers where he will transfer.
Hurd announced his decision to transfer from the Vols in midseason.

If Hurd were to join the Golden Bears, he would be forced to sit out the 2017 season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules.
Hurd finished his career with the Volunteers with 2,638 yards and 20 touchdowns on 589 carries.
