Former Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd continues his search for his next home.
After taking a visit to Cal last weekend, Hurd is set to swing through Columbus for a meeting with the Ohio State Buckeyes, who were led on the ground last season by redshirt freshman Mike Webster.
Despite the Buckeyes already having a standout rusher, Hurd appears poised to seriously consider all options. If he were to transfer to Ohio State, Hurd would be forced to sit out the 2017 season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules.
Hurd has also discussed the possibility of making a position change to wide receiver or tight end.
As a member of the Volunteers, Hurd rushed for 2,635 yards and 20 touchdowns. Hurd recorded 451 yards and three touchdowns last season before abruptly leaving the team.
