The Duke basketball program will be hosting one of the nation’s top recruits on Thursday night.
According to a report from 247Sports, five-star prospect Trevon Duval, the No. 1 ranked point guard in the class of 2017, will be making an official visit to Durham for tonight’s rivalry game with the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Duval will be in the stands at Cameron Indoor Stadium along with Duke commits Wendell Carter and Gary Trent.
The top five schools in consideration for Duval are Arizona, Baylor, Duke, Kansas, and Seton Hall. Duval previously took an official visit to Kansas.
If there was ever a way to impress a top recruit with the atmosphere at your home arena, a major rivalry game like Duke vs. UNC is the perfect way to go.
Tip-off between the Blue Devils and Tar Heels is set for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
