Thanks to his record-breaking Super Bowl LI performance, many believed New England Patriots running back James White deserved Super Bowl MVP honors.
Of course, the award ultimately went to star quarterback Tom Brady, but it sounded like White would still receive a gift.
Following the Patriots’ last Super Bowl win, Brady gave the truck he received as part of his MVP honor to Malcolm Butler. This year, Brady had indicated he would be doing the same for White.
Unfortunately, there was no truck to give away this year.
That’s okay for White, however, because late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien came through in the clutch and surprised White with a brand new Ford 150, the official truck of Super Bowl LI.
Well done, Conan.
