The Villanova basketball team will be down a starter for this afternoon’s Big East clash with Xavier.
On Saturday morning, the school announced senior forward Darryl Reynolds will not suit up for the No. 2 Wildcats. Reynolds, who is considered day-to-day, is currently dealing with a rib injury.
Eric Paschall will likely start in his place.
The team will also be without redshirt freshman Tim Delaney, who underwent hip surgery earlier this week.

Also, Tim Delaney underwent surgery on his left hip on Wednesday and is not with the Wildcats today. There is no time table for a return.

This season, Reynolds is averaging 5.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Tip-off between the Wildcats and Musketeers at Cinatas Center in Cincinnati is set for 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
