Alabama Crimson Tide offensive lineman Lester Cotton was reportedly arrested prior to the weekend.
According to a report from Kelvin Reynolds of WBRC Fox 6 News, the Tuscaloosa Police Department arrested Cotton on Friday on a drug possession charge.
Cotton was ultimately charged with possession of marijuana II and possession of drug paraphernalia.
As you would expect, police “smelled the odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle.”
Cotton was Alabama’s starting right guard last season, so hopefully he can avoid any off-field punishment.
