Michigan State Football Staffer Curtis Blackwell Suspended

Michigan State football staffer Curtis Blackwell has been suspended with pay by the university, according to a report from MLive.com. A school spokesperson declined to provide any detail on Blackwell’s suspension.
Blackwell has been with the Spartans since the summer of 2013. He handles recruiting efforts for the program and serves as a mentor for players as director of college advancement and performance.
Of course, the timing of the suspension comes as three Michigan State football players have been suspended amidst a sexual assault investigation.
The initial report also indicated a member of the staff was also suspended pending the investigation.
Michigan State is also launching a Title IX investigation and an independent investigation into the Spartans football program.
