Georgia Tech basketball legend Brian Oliver was being honored during Sunday evening’s game against Syracuse. Oliver was alongside the rest of the Yellow Jackets’ “Lethal Weapon 3” — Kenny Anderson and Dennis Scott — when he had the opportunity to become a hero once again.
Oliver stepped onto the court to attempt a half-court shot.
If the shot was successful, one lucky Yellow Jackets student was going to win free Domino’s pizza for an entire year. In college, that’s one of the top five prizes you can receive.
So when Oliver lined up and let his shot go, he showed he still had his magic touch and banked the shot in.
As you would expect, everyone at McCamish Pavilion went wild.
