Ex-UFC Fighter Terry Etim Seriously Injured After Leaping Into Traffic

Former UFC fighter Terry Etim is in serious condition after a horrific scene unfolded in England.

According to reports and eye witnesses, Etim was “running in and out of traffic” and threw himself into as many as four buses, one of which was moving at the time.

Etim threw himself into one of the windshields and was covered in blood on the street.

“It was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen, one eye witness said. “His friends were running after him and trying to restrain him on the floor but he managed to break free and was running in and around all the cars.”

Police were forced to restrain Etim at the time they arrived and then transported him to the hospital.

Eye witnesses claim Etim was riding in a car with friends before he got out and started running into oncoming traffic. Etim was not attempting to harm anyone other than himself, reports indicate.

Roads were closed for four hours following the incident.

Etim has not competed in mixed martial arts since scoring a decision win over Patrick Cenoble at Bellator 109 back in November of 2013. The Liverpool native fought in the UFC from 2007 to 2013, compiling a record of 6-5.
