Alabama Football Records $103.9 Million In Revenue For 2016

The Alabama football program is consistently in the national championship picture and school’s success has led to millions in revenue for the university.
In 2016, the Crimson Tide hit a new annual record thanks to Nick Saban’s squad bringing in a whopping $103.9 million.
According to a report from AL.com, revenue from the football program was up 21.3 percent.
The Crimson Tide recorded a $47.7 million in profit for the year.

In total, the university watched its revenue jump 10.1 percent, but 63.3 percent of the total revenue for the athletic program was thanks to the Alabama football team.
The school’s total profit in 2016 was $18.7 million.
Not too shabby.
Despite losing to the Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, it was still a successful year for the program.
We’ll have to see how they perform in 2017 and if the revenue continues to jump through the roof.
