Another week of college basketball action is in the books as the season approaches the most exciting time of the year — March Madness — and the latest AP Top 25 rankings have been released.
After suffering its first loss of the season, the Gonzaga basketball program has dropped from the No. 1 spot to No. 4.
Taking over the top spot in the rankings is Kansas, the previously-ranked No. 3 team in the country. The Jayhawks earned 58 of a possible 65 first-place votes.
Occupying the No. 2 ranking is defending national champion Villanova, while UCLA, Gonzaga and North Carolina round out the top five.
