Texas Basketball: Tevin Mack, Team's Leading Scorer, Booted From Team

The Texas basketball team will finish the season without one of its top players.
On Monday, the Longhorns announced leading scorer Tevin Mack has been kicked off the team for an undisclosed violation of team rules, according to Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman.
Mack, who was suspended for the season-opener, was suspended indefinitely in January.
There are very few details regarding Mack’s dismissal, but head coach Shaka Smart confirmed the news.
Prior to his suspension, Mack averaged 14.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
