VIDEO: John Ross' 40-Yard Dash Next To Tom Brady's

John Ross made headlines at the combine yesterday with his impressive performance in the 40-yard dash. Finishing at a blazingly fast 4.22 seconds, he set a new record for the fastest time at the showcases premiere event.
With his impressive finish, Ross supplanted Chris Johnson’s 2009 time at the top of the pole.
Check out Ross’ record setting finish:

Ross likely did wonders for his draft stock with his performance. GM’s and scouts are often willing to overlook deficiencies elsewhere when a player is able to exhibit this kind of athletic ability. There was a bit of concern following the run, though, as Ross pulled up lame.
The injury doesn’t appear to have been serious, as Ross claimed it was only soreness, and decided against doing another run of the 40.
Speed certainly thrills, but thrills don’t necessarily mean championships. Take a look at Tom Brady’s 40 yard dash and decide whether you think he looks like a future five-time Super Bowl winner

Brady rode his time all the way to a sixth round pick. Blame it on the drag from his t-shirt.
