Indiana Basketball: Bob Knight Blasts Hoosiers Administrators

Don’t expect Bob Knight to appear at a Indiana basketball game anytime soon.
On Friday, the former college basketball coach gave an interview on the “Dan Patrick Show” where he took the opportunity to blast officials at the university.
Knight must have woken up extra cranky, too, because he went on to wish death on everyone who had a part in how his time at the school ended. Seriously, he went that far with his comments in a shocking exchange.
Here is how it all went down, as transcribed by the Indianapolis Star:

“Well, I think I’ve always really enjoyed the fans, I always will,” Knight said. “On my dying day, I will think about how great the fans at Indiana were. And as far as the hierarchy at Indiana University at that time, I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for those people. With that in mind, I have no interest in ever going back to that university.”
Patrick followed up: “Aren’t those people all out of there coach?”
Knight: “I hope they’re all dead.”
Patrick: “Some of them are…”
Knight: “Well, I hope the rest of them go.”

Yikes.
I guess time doesn’t really heal all wounds.
