March Madness 2017: New Orleans Teammates Have Heated Shoving Match

March Madness is off and running and emotions are running high. In the first game of the tournament season, New Orleans squared off against Mount Saint Mary’s in what turned out to be a thrilling photo finish.
New Orleans spent the majority of the game playing catch up, closing the gap to one point with 2.6 seconds left to play. They ultimately failed to convert on a cross-court pass inbound pass and weren’t able to get a final shot to try and win the game.
New Orleans ultimately fell to Mount St. Mary’s, 67-66.
The pressure seemed to be getting to the Privateers on the sideline, too.
While New Orleans was attempting to make their furious comeback, Christavious Gill and Travin Thibodeaux could be seen shouting at each other and shoving on their way back to the sideline for a time-out.
With their season on the line, it’s no wonder emotions were running so high.

In the end, the Mountaineers proved to be too much for the Privateers.
The tournament was tipped off in exciting fashion and is hopefully a harbinger of things to come. The second half of the double-feature has Kansas State taking on Wake Forest.
