While some of the first round match ups in NCAA Tournament are very affordable, starting as low as $16 in some cases, others come at a higher premium.
In the bottom portion of the East Region, Duke is the big name team playing in Greenville, South Carolina. They play Troy in the first round matchup, a game they should be able to handle with relative ease.
Historically Duke has struggled as a No.2 seed, and the team was left with the feeling that it was given the short end of the stick when it came to where it was seeded.
Expect to pony-up the dough if you want to watch the Blue Devils, though. Tickets are starting around $260 and are currently the priciest ticket on the market.
Despite being a No. 2 seed in the tournament, Duke remains one of the favorites to cut down the nets when all is said and done. They currently hold 7-to-1 odds. They are a team that has been tested with Grayson Allen continuing to trip opponents and coach Krzyzewski missing time on the sideline after undergoing back surgery.
If you’re a Duke fan, $260 to watch your team eat Troy’s lunch might be worth it.
