Evan Nagao, Yo-Yo Champion, Wins Tournament With ‘Freebird’ Routine & Becomes American Hero

Everyone meet Evan Nagao, a master with a yo-yo and instantly one of the coolest dudes in the world.

The ProYo master is 20-years old and has been killing it on the American circuit, but now he’s gone worldwide and officially become an American hero after a masterful routine to one of the greatest Southern Rock classics of all-time, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Freebird.”

Nagao went on over to the European Yo-Yo Championship Open Final to bust out his tricks and, you guessed it! He won.

U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Are you ready to have your mind blown? Just watch this kid hit you with all kinds of unexpected moves and swagger while he jumps around stage with the best yo-yo game you’ve ever seen.

I could barely even do “The Elevator” or “Walk the Dog” when I was a kid, but here this kid is shredding the string like he’s busting out the “Freebird” guitar solo.

Legend status achieved.

We salute you, Evan Nagao, our new American hero.
