Each and every year, there are a number of films that dominate the box office.
But while some films may come away as the year’s biggest winner, it is tough to top some of the highest-grossing films of all-time. Regardless of genre, there are multiple films that have brought in more than a whopping $1 billion.
The list includes action movies, science fiction, animation and drama, with some cult classics and plenty of super hero story lines in the mix.
