Tom Brady’s Super Bowl Jersey Found Overseas By FBI, Ending National Nightmare

Tom Brady’s Super Bowl LI jersey has finally been found, so we can rest easy tonight knowing that the long-lasting national nightmare has finally come to an end.

The bizarre story which began immediately following the New England Patriots’ comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons is even stranger than initially imagined, however, with news that the jersey was recovered by the FBI overseas.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports had the scoop.

In a series of tweets, Glazer explained the crazy details and said the “NFL believes the jersey was stolen by someone posing as international media member.”

To make matters even more interesting, it turns out that there were actually two Super Bowl jerseys belonging to Brady recovered at the scene. That’s right; two jerseys belonging to Tom Brady were stolen and recovered at the same location.

From Tom Curran of CSNNE:

Not only did the FBI and NFL Security locate the SB51 jersey that was lifted last month, they also found Brady’s jersey from SB49, which apparently was taken by the same individual and pawned outside the U.S.

This case is going to get its own “30 for 30” special some day. And it’s going to be great.
