Updated 2017 NIT Bracket, Schedule For Monday’s Games

The 2017 NCAA Tournament is down to the Sweet 16, but don’t forget about the other tournament going on. While teams across the nation are battling for the national championship, a handful of teams remain alive for the consolation prize in the NIT.

On Monday, the NIT will narrow its field to eight teams for the quarterfinals.

Here is today’s slate of action:

  • Illinois State vs. UCF, 7 p.m., ESPN
  • Texas-Arlington vs. Akron, 8 p.m., ESPNU
  • Boise State vs. Illinois, 9 p.m., ESPN
  • CS Bakersfield vs. Colorado State, 11 p.m., ESPN2

Every game can be streamed live online with the WatchESPN app.

Today’s winners will be joining Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, TCU and Richmond in the quarterfinals. Illinois State is the lone remaining No. 1 seed in the tournament, following losses by Iowa and Syracuse in the second round and a shocking first-round loss from California at the hands of Cal-Bakersfield.
