Donald Trump Takes Aim At Colin Kaepernick Again

This might end up extending Colin Kaepernick’s career.
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback caused a stir last season when he decided to take a knee before every game during the national anthem. This drew harsh criticism from a number of sources, but none harsher than Donald Trump, who used the Kaepernick’s actions as a way of furthering his political agenda.
On a stage in front of several thousands of American’s, Trump took the opportunity talk about how popular he is on Twitter.

Donald Trump claims that general managers of the NFL aren’t reaching out to Colin Kaepernick because they don’t want to receive a critical tweet from the Prez for doing so. It has nothing to do with the fact that, despite his fame, Kaepernick hasn’t been a very good quarterback for a few years now.
Despite the fact that he has stated he will stand for the national anthem this coming season, offers have yet to come pouring in for the quarterback. But now, they might. He’s back in the news cycle, and any press is good press.
These days, being on the president’s bad side can be a good thing.
