Alabama Football: Nick Saban Blasts Media In NSFW Rant

Alabama football coach Nick Saban is already in mid-season form.

After the Crimson Tide kicked off spring practice, Saban was taking questions from the media when he received a bizarre question about changing his offensive scheme following the hiring of Patriots offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.

Saban didn’t appreciate the question and went on a NSFW blasting the media.

It was rich.

“I don’t know where you came up with we’re going to go to ball control. That’s not what we do,” Saban said, as transcribed by The Comeback. “I mean the New England Patriots threw the ball over 60 percent of the time, which is more than we threw it. So where does that assumption come from?

“Or do you do what everybody else in the media does, just create some shit and put it on the wall and see what sticks, which is what I see happening everywhere. And the people who scream the loudest, you know, they kind of get the attention.”

Classic Nick Saban.

You have to love when a coach is already feeling combative and sticking up for his players months before the season begins. Then again, the Crimson Tide will be entering the 2017 college football season with a chip on their shoulder after falling to Clemson in last season’s national championship game.
