South Carolina Spring Game Moved Because Of Final Four

Football will take a back seat to basketball this Saturday in South Carolina.
As the Gamecocks have reached their first Final Four in school history, coaches of the South Carolina football team decided that holding a spring game at the same time as the biggest game in school history would be unfair and unnecessary.
The spring game, which features Garnet vs. Black, was originally scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. ET. Tip-off for South Carolina’s Final Four matchup against top seeded Gonzaga is at 6:09 p.m. ET.
To avoid any conflict, the Spring Game has been bumped to noon ET.

Nobody is going to be able to make the argument that South Carolina is now a basketball school, but coach Frank Martin has his team playing better than anyone could have possibly imagined when the season first began.
The Gamecocks will face an uphill battle against a Gonzaga team that has lost only one game all season, but don’t expect that to deter them. At this point, South Carolina has to feel like it’s playing with house money.
They’ll come out with guns blazing and hope to knock the Bulldogs in the mouth early and often.
