Report: Lonzo Ball Hires Agent To Make NBA Draft Decision Official

We all knew that UCLA basketball star Lonzo Ball was set to enter the 2017 NBA Draft, but the news became official on Thursday with news that the 6-foot-6 guard has signed an agent.
According to a report from The Vertical’s Shams Charania, Ball will be signing with agent Harrison Gaines, who never has had an NBA client. However, Gaines appears to be close to the Ball family, working under the Ball Sports Group which proud daddy LaVar Ball and company recently launched.
During his lone campaign, Ball averaged 14.6 points, six rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.
Ball is expected to be selected at the top of the first round and could potentially hear his name called No. 1 overall.
The NBA Draft will take place on June 22.
