Brian Kelly Will Attend NFL Draft To Support DeShone Kizer

Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly will be attending the 2017 NFL Draft.

According to a report from Mike Vorel of the South Bend Tribune, Kelly will be attending the draft in Philadelphia to show support for his former quarterback DeShone Kizer.

The news comes after Kelly previously criticized Kizer and said he should have remained in school.

Last season, Kizer threw for 2,925 yards with 26 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Kizer is expected to be selected within the first two days of this month’s draft. The 2017 NFL Draft takes place from April 27-29.
