Tom Brady Will Not Join Patriots For White House Visit

The New England Patriots’ biggest star will not be joining the team for its White House visit on Wednesday. Tom Brady released a statement this morning stating he would not make the trip.

Brady is one of numerous Patriots players who are not visiting the Trump White House, but Brady’s reasoning is not political.

Instead, the star quarterback cited “personal family matters” as the reason for his absence.

“I am so happy and excited that our team is being honored at the White House today. Our team has accomplished something very special that we are all proud of and will be for years to come,” Brady said in a statement.

“Thank you to the President for hosting this honorary celebration and for supporting our team for as long as I can remember. In light of some recent developments, I am unable to attend today’s ceremony, as I am attending to some person family matters. Hopefully, if we accomplish the goal of winning a championship in the future years, we will be back on the South Lawn again soon.”

What are the chances Brady isn’t going because Giselle decided, “nah. That’s not a good look, Tommy”?
